Pacific World has recently expanded its operations to Croatia

(Dubrovnik, 21th November 2014) On 21st October, Pacific World and Gulliver Travel signed the collaboration agreement in Palma de Mallorca that signifies the enhanced global footprint and value proposition for both companies as well as additional recognition of Croatia as the new and upcoming destination for organisation of congresses, events, incentives and business travel.
Pacific World, the integrated global Destination Management Company and Event Management Organisation, has expanded its footprint into the new and upcoming MICE (meetings, incentives, congresses, events) destination by partnering with Gulliver Travel, the leading DMC in Croatia and the region, and they will operate under the name Pacific World Croatia. Official launch of the Pacific World Croatia was at this year's EIBITM (leading global event for the meetings, incentives, conferences, events and business travel industry) in Barcelona.
As a destination, Croatia will open to worldwide agencies and business clients of the Pacific World coming from different sectors, from the pharmaceutical to automobile industries. Through the global network of its representatives worldwide and the joint participation in fairs/exhibitions, Pacific World will introduce Croatia as an exciting Mediterranean destination with a variety of options. Thus, it will increase both the recognisability of Croatia in the global MICE market and the sales results in that segment.
Harsha Krishnan, Strategic Development Director of Pacific World commented, “We, as Pacific World, are excited to open up in this new interesting destination. Through the shared ownership structure provided by TUI Travel PLC, we can guarantee service standards and ensure that creativity and the customer experience is second to none. We believe that this is one more step in our journey to create a ‘one-stop-shop’ global value proposition for all our clients worldwide.”
Goran Hrnić, President of the Board of Gulliver Travel stated, “MICE segment is the one that enables longer season in the destination. We believe this partnership to be a step forward in that direction, not only to Gulliver’s benefit but to the benefit of the destination in general.  The alignment of standards and processes will ensure that the already high quality of Gulliver’s service in organising MICE events gets an added value and recognisability as Pacific World Croatia brand worldwide.”
To remind, both companies, Pacific World and Gulliver Travel, are part of TUI Travel PLC. Pacific World is the integrated global Destination Management Company and Event Management Organisation established in Hong Kong in 1980. By integrating as part of TUI Travel PLC in 2007, it opened up to countries outside Asia, with current presence in 13 countries and more than 25 offices in all continents.
