We cleaned Lapad beach as a part of TUI's worldwide campaign for environmental protection and sustainability

(Dubrovnik, 16 July 2019) Environmental action of cleaning Lapad dog beach took place on Wednesday, 10 July 2019. The action was organised by the TUI Destination Experiences (TUI DX), in which Gulliver travel participated as a part of TUI DX. The action was attended by Gulliver travel employees. 

As in previous years, TUI DX once again organised a global campaign on environmental protection and sustainability. This year's campaign is focused on cleaning, bearing the name "Help us keep our planet clean". The official motto of the campaign is "REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE".

Gulliver Travel strives to promote the principles of social responsibility and ecological awareness within its business policies and its strategy. Along with acting responsibly in its everyday activities following the stated principles, this action further confirms our continued engagement in the context of ecology, preservation of natural resources and sustainability. Gulliver travel, as a part of TUI Group, participated this year in the annual environmental and sustainability campaign organized by TUI DX. More than 20 Gulliver volunteers participated in the action, and during the action 150m of the beach was cleaned. A total of 15 kilograms of different waste was collected, including cigarettes, plastic bags, glass, paper and other waste material.
