Gulliver travel invested in its own exclusive catamaran for excursions

SeaGULL 30 - Made to measure for a unique Dubrovnik experience

(Dubrovnik, 7 June 2019) Today, in Dubrovnik, catamaran SeaGULL 30 officially sailed from port Gruž for the first time. SeaGULL 30 is the new and exclusive Gulliver travel project, which will contribute to increasing the quality of the tourist offer of the entire destination and will because of its attractiveness and size represent a certain floating landmark.

In its business, Gulliver travel pays special attention to continuous monitoring of trends, and accordingly, creating a wide range of new and differentiated tourism products/programs. When developing new programs, the guiding principles are innovation, sustainability, originality, exclusivity, discovering new and undeveloped tourist sites, presenting existing locations in a different way, involving the local population and their products/services and authenticity. High quality service is one of the basic features of our products.

We will enrich not only our offer but the offer of the region with one such new and differentiated tourist product in 2019. We are very proud that this project is happening right in our thirtieth year of a successful business. Our new and exclusive project, the catamaran SeaGULL 30, whose purpose is to carry out daily and half-day trips, as well as events within the various MICE programs. The catamaran will also be rented out to locals for weddings, hen/bachelorette parties, birthdays and others. The boat is equipped with Wi-Fi, diving equipment and music, and offers numerous options for an extraordinary experience. 

For the 2019 season, we planned four excursions, with prices ranging from 400 to 600 kn: 
1. Old town & magic island with exclusive catamaran
2. Elaphite islands catamaran sail & exclusive beach break
3. Old town catamaran sail & exclusive beach break morning
4. Gorgeous Dubrovnik sunset with exclusive catamaran

Excursions include healthy salads, fruit and refreshing drinks on board that is served on biodegradable packaging. In order to provide even more comfort to our vacationers, SeaGULL 30 towels, waterproof cell phone protection or lanyards are also available. The catamaran is Ocean Voyager 64, 19.50 m long, 13 m wide and can accommodate 80 passengers. It was built at the shipyard Ocean Voyager SAS in France, in Canet en Roussillon, and will be the only vessel of its kind in Dubrovnik.

We would like to highlight another important goal that we will realize through this project. By running a catamaran excursion program for guests from the cruiser, we will consequently relieve the traffic congestion on the Gruž-Grad-Gruž route.

And finally, here is an interesting fact about the catamaran name: the catamaran was named after the Gulliver travel's internal tender. SeaGULL 30 represents the wordplay: sea (sea), seagull (gull), gulliver and 30 (30 years of business).
