Vrana Lake (Vransko jezero) on the island of Cres is considered to be a phenomenon - it is a fresh-water lake amidst salt-water: a lake in the sea, yet outside of it!
The Devil's Passage (Vražji prolaz) near Skrad in Gorski Kotar, is a passage consisting of paths and small bridges between steep rocks. Above the foamy mountain stream Jaska there is also a cascade 90 metres high above a semi-cave and a spring.
The Kanyon Kamačnik (Vrbovsko) is a gorge almost 3km long, with landscapes, cuttings, rocks and caves linked by picturesque small bridges and tracks; a real inspiration for everyone who is fond of nature, for mountain-climbers and fishermen.
